ADC’s fearless leader, Rocky, has over 30 years of experience and thousands of on-site wastewater treatment systems under his belt. Rocky loves little more than the opportunity to put his ingenuity to work to meet the unique goals of each project (except maybe his kids and a well-deserved jam session now and again).

Dave Heighway is a seasoned civil and utility engineer with more than 30 years of experience in water and wastewater treatment, collection, and distribution systems across multiple states. A U.S. Navy veteran, he holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology and has served in senior leadership roles overseeing capital budgets, utility master planning, acquisitions, and regulatory compliance. Dave’s hands-on expertise includes treatment plant upgrades, nutrient and contaminant removal, storage tank and well rehabilitation, and master planning using advanced modeling tools. His ability to navigate technical complexity, regulatory requirements, and multidisciplinary project delivery makes him a valuable asset to both public and private sector infrastructure projects.

Cameron Shoemaker brings expertise in water system infrastructure, capital improvement planning, and hydraulic modeling. He has managed multi-year capital improvement plans for more than 220 water systems, overseeing pump station upgrades, treatment projects, and long-term water system planning. Cameron holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA from Boise State University and is pursuing his Professional Engineer licensure.

Farah Alkerwy joined the team in July is an accomplished engineer and business professional with combined experience in business operations management, integrated project delivery, and project coordination. With a B.S.E. in Civil Engineering from Arizona State University and certifications including Associate DBIA and Envision SP, she brings extensive technical expertise and leadership to water and wastewater infrastructure projects.

Tyler Sorrell is a Design Engineer and Registered Sanitarian in Washington State with expertise in on-site wastewater treatment system design, regulatory compliance, and plan review. He holds a B.A.S. in Forest Resource Management from Green River College and is pursuing licensure as an On-site Wastewater Treatment System Designer. With experience both as a regulator and a designer-in-training, Tyler brings a well-rounded perspective to site and soil evaluation, system design, and project review for residential, community, and commercial developments.

Sandy Ochoa draws on her background in retail leadership and client services to support ADC’s growing team. As Executive Assistant and Project Coordinator, she is recognized for her strong communication, organizational skills, and commitment to helping both leadership and staff succeed.

Luci Tolic is an Engineering Intern at ADC and a Civil Engineering student at the University of Washington – Tacoma, expected to graduate in June 2026. She enjoys getting out in the field and supporting operations work while gaining hands-on experience in water and wastewater projects.
